TURNPIKE TOLLS GOING UP AGAIN: The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has approved a 3.5% toll increase beginning Jan. 3, 2027.
The per-mile rate will rise from 7.3 cents to 7.5 cents, while the segment fee increases from $1.13 to $1.17. Drivers using Toll By Plate will continue paying roughly double.

Officials say it’s the smallest increase since 2014, but much of the money is still going toward debt. The Turnpike’s is projected to bring in $2 billion in revenue next year. The Turnpike receives no tax dollars and says toll revenue pays for operations, maintenance, repairs and infrastructure.

Is a 3.5% increase reasonable, or are Pennsylvania drivers already paying enough?

The Print & Graphic Communications Association knows how to celebrate the print and marketing industry!

At the 2026 Neographics Awards Gala in Philadelphia on Thursday, May 14, the Print & Graphic Communications Association recognized exceptional achievements in print, packaging, and graphic communications.

Route 30 Shuts Down All Weekend for the Final Interchange Closure 🚧
If you drive Route 30, plan around this one. PennDOT is closing Route 30 in both directions at the Route 30/Route 222 interchange in Manheim Township from 9 p.m. Friday until before 5 a.m. Monday. Eastbound lanes close between the Fruitville Pike and New Holland Pike exits; westbound closes between the Route 222 north off-ramp and the Route 222 south on-ramp. Crews will set beams for a new two-lane bridge carrying the ramp from eastbound Route 30 to northbound Route 222 — the fourth and final full closure for the $72 million, four-year interchange project that wraps in September 2027.
The detour for Route 30 east runs Route 501 south to North Duke Street to Route 23 east, then back onto Route 30. .
