Last week, we hosted a team from U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service Specialty Crops Program. Topics of conversation included government purchases for processed asparagus, grading, inspections, and specifications. The tour was very educational and informative and we sincerely appreciate them coming out to better understand our industry! Special thanks to our processors/packers and Michigan Asparagus for helping make the tour a success!

We had the pleasure of hosting Michigan Farm Bureau President, Ben LaCross last week as we made our way through the asparagus countryside. Thank you Michigan Farm Bureau President for lending your time, and attention, as we spent the day discussing some of the complexities facing the industry today!
