Late career update, but cheers to one year in corporate marketing! ✨🎉

People often ask if I miss being in TV, and my answer is always the same, “I miss storytelling more than anything, but I enjoy what I do now.” Life has taught me that passion doesn’t disappear, it evolves. You can still live out what you love, just through different avenues.

No experience is ever wasted. This past year has taught me so much. And the best part? I still get to tell stories. I still get the opportunity to help, to connect, and to make an impact in my community; just in a new way.

So here’s to growth, new chapters, and finding purpose in every season! 🤍

On the last day of Black History Month, I had the incredible honor of being recognized as one of the many African American pioneers who have impacted Lubbock media. I am beyond thankful and will never take opportunities like this lightly.

I will never forget the moment my children saw me on TV and said, “Look at Mommy.” Representation truly matters, and I’m so grateful to play even a small part in paving the way for not only my children but the next generation.

Thank you Lubbock Public Library for seeing me, it really means a lot!

Our Odessa team proudly donated $6,500 to Meals on Wheels, which was used to purchase $10 gift cards for senior clients. These gift cards can be redeemed at any United Supermarkets or Market Street location, providing recipients with a little extra joy during the holiday season.

This marks the third consecutive year Prosperity Bank has funded the Santa for Seniors Program, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the community. Odessa Market President Mara Hobbs shared, “Prosperity is so blessed to be a part of this wonderful community. We dedicate teams all year to deliver Meals on Wheels, so we are humbled and honored to provide the recipients with a little something special this time of year.
