Small business check-in! 🗣️

Per to many of my customers saying I am pricing tooooo low for hemming pants. Most of them say they'd be happy to pay $25 or more for each item!

My current rate for jeans, scrubs, and sweatpants is $15/pair.

​I do need your help first! Before I decide to do an increase. (I hate to do increase...fyi I haven't increased my prices in a long time.)

What is most important to you when you come for an alteration?? Would a small price adjustment change how often you bring your items in for me to do my magic??

New and exciting!
New phone number: 440-339-3806
It's definitely time for me to separate my business from my personal phone number.

While some of my amazing to be customers randomly text me late at night, I've been having a hard time sleeping due to grieving. During that time, I don't want to be distracted during my quiet time. So, you see, I can't hear, so my phone is set to flash to wake me up. I get woken up at random times; that time around 2 a.m. seems popular for making appointments or asking questions. I don't mind doing that, but I need my sleep at 2 a.m., although then I stay up texting back and forth with all ideas because I can't go back to sleep. 😂

I've had some people text me constantly until I actually respond. That's getting old too. 🫠

So now, I have my business phone number. It's 440-399-3806. Add to your phone book "The Deaf Seamstress" seems like a very common name going around town and I love it. So, go ahead and text my business phone to say hello.

FYI: please give me a day to respond to your messages. I'm still catching up on 50+ texts. 😴

I DO try my best try not to response on the weekends I need a relax weekend...however this morning I had a phone call at 5:40AM asking about alteration appointment. Respectfully, she was working third shift and did not think of the times. Whoops!

If you do need an appointment - go ahead and put in request to get an appointment.
