The forecast said rain. The band said let's play anyway. The gourmet hot dogs said nothing, but they were excellent.
This summer we threw open the warehouse doors, cranked up Shirts and Skins, and partied with the people who matter most — our team and the people they love. A little weather never stopped a good time!

Today we’re spotlighting Eric Kildal , CAD Detailer at Storylink Creative, also known around the office as Easy E. Eric is a 3D designer and engineer who creates both trade show booths and the instructions that show you exactly how to assemble them — basically, he’s the IKEA instruction manual for exhibits.

A few things to know about Eric:
💪 He's big into lifting weights (and wearing T-shirts that proudly say so)
😎 Some people think he resembles the famous Robert Redford “woods nod” meme
🍷 Favorite hobbies include drinking whiskey and lifting heavy things

And, yes, he’s also mastered the art of office storytelling — including the one about the guy with the "punchable" face.

12% of exhibit managers surveyed by Exhibitor magazine don't know their 2026 budget.
Not tight. Not frozen. Unknown.
That number is its own kind of data point. If you don't know how much you have to spend, the conversation about whether you're spending it wisely probably hasn't happened yet.
The rest of the survey paints a surprisingly confident picture — 80% expect to outperform 2025. But that 12% is worth sitting with.

The captain-in-a-storm metaphor employed by Exhibitor to accompany its 2026 Economic Outlook Survey is fitting. There's something genuinely admirable about an industry that looks at visa restrictions, economic uncertainty, shrinking budgets, and rising costs and responds with: We're going to hold our position and come out better on the other side.

But the metaphor cuts both ways. A good captain in a storm doesn't just grip the wheel. They trim the sails. They think about which ports of call are worth the fuel in uncertain conditions and which ones aren't. In fact, when the storm hits they start doing more, not less.
