🎉 Happy 25th anniversary, Walnut Grill!

Since opening its first location in Shadyside in 2001, Walnut Grill has spent a quarter century serving scratch-made food, handcrafted cocktails, and plenty of Pittsburgh memories.

We’ve had the privilege of working with the Walnut Grill team for years, so we were excited to help celebrate this milestone with 25th anniversary door graphics featuring their classic logo.

Here’s to the next 25 years! Stop by and celebrate with them in Robinson, Washington, or Wexford.

✨ Good signs don’t always retire. Sometimes, they relocate.

When Brunner moved its Pittsburgh office from Stanwix Street to the North Shore, one familiar piece of its old space came along for the journey: the lobby sign that had welcomed clients for years.

Rather than replace it, our team gave the sign a second act by retrofitting it with multicolor backlighting. The familiar wood-and-dimensional “B” now has a fresh glow that can change with the moment while keeping a piece of Brunner’s history front and center.

Congratulations to our friends at Brunner on the new space. We’re proud to have helped bring a familiar piece of the brand across the river.

💜💛 Some projects are about more than signs.

Plum Senior High School approached us to help honor Joseph Ionta, “Coach I,” who spent decades coaching, teaching, and mentoring Plum students and athletes before his passing in 2025.

To help carry his legacy forward, we created a large, removable graphic for the back of the video board beside the football field featuring “Plum Athletics” and a message Coach I shared with so many athletes: LOOK AT YOU.

We also created two tribute signs at key entrances, each featuring a QR code that connects visitors to a video tribute celebrating his life and impact.

Coach I was known for making people feel valued, capable, and seen. It was an honor to help the Plum community ensure that message continues to be part of the place where he made such an impact.

Thank you to Plum Borough School District for trusting us with something so meaningful.

🚴 64 bikes. One sharp, branded studio.

We recently printed and installed custom logo decals on all 64 spin bikes at Oxford Athletic Club in Wexford.

The crisp white logos pop against the black frames and bring a consistent, professional look to the entire cycling studio.

Branding doesn’t have to stop at the front door. Custom equipment decals are a simple way to carry your identity throughout your space and make every detail feel intentional.

We appreciate Oxford Athletic Club trusting us with another project!

🔎 Did you know? Not every “neon” sign you see is actually neon.

Many of today’s glowing storefront signs use LED neon, also called flex or neon-style LED, to create that familiar illuminated look.

Why do businesses choose it?

✅ More durable than traditional glass tubing
✅ Lower energy use
✅ Long operating lifespan
✅ Flexible enough for custom lettering, shapes, and designs

Traditional glass neon still has its place, especially when an authentic vintage look is the goal. But LED neon gives businesses another eye-catching option with less maintenance.

💡 Next time you spot a glowing storefront sign, take a closer look. You might be surprised by what’s lighting it up.

New sign, new HQ, new chapter for Butler County tourism!

We’re proud to have helped Experience Butler County Pennsylvania bring its new home to life at the historic T.W. Phillips Building in downtown Butler.

Our team retrofitted the monument sign with a new face and installed custom vinyl door graphics to welcome visitors and partners to the organization’s new space on North Main Street.

It’s always rewarding to see a historic property get a fresh, modern update while maintaining the character that makes it special.

Congratulations on the move, Experience Butler County!

✨ Spark Staff Picks: Carrie Silvers

For this edition of Spark Staff Picks, we’re featuring Carrie Silvers, a nine-year veteran of the Spark Signs team.

Carrie chose our work with , a metaphysical supply store in Zelienople, as one of her favorite recent projects. She especially enjoyed working with the client to help develop the vision for the signage as they brought their new business to life.

Our team created a building sign, custom window graphics, and a pull-up banner to give Enchanted Vibrations a cohesive look across its storefront and promotional materials.

Great signage starts with understanding the client’s vision, and this project was a perfect example of that collaboration.

Creative vision, brought to life in a new space.

We recently partnered with Generate Design, a creative branding agency based in Raleigh, NC, to produce and install signage and graphics for their client, Superior Huntingdon Composites, at its Warrendale location.

Generate Design provided the artwork, and our team helped bring it into the physical space through wall murals, window graphics, and dimensional signage in the lobby and conference room.

It’s always rewarding to collaborate with creative partners to turn brand artwork into polished, professional environments.
