I’ve always viewed my kids as my teachers and that has helped me be better mom.

Walker knew from the jump he was the finale in an era of my life. We closed many seasons together and I’m so grateful to have done that work with him.

He’s gonna be a dad this year and start a whole new season of his life.

My motherhood was shaped by each of my kids and he was just the best chapter to close the door to active parenting.

He came hard wired to his journey and I got to help him keep it between the ditches for a lot of those years.

He has called me forward as a mom, parent, and friend in more ways than he will ever know.

I’m stoked to watch him dad and if I know anything it will be something he does well.

He’s going to see parts of himself in his son in some of the ways I did with him and I’m sure in some ways I can’t even imagine.

The mirror always adds to our journey.

Love compounds in parenthood it always refines and expands us.

Can I tell you a secret about LinkedIn?

It is the biggest ick on the internet. My friends and I have a name for it and I will not be typing it here. You can dm me if you’re curious.

Endless men being humbled and honored to announce. Endless posts about the Em dash and AI writing.

But I needed a photo for a post. So I opened my camera roll.

Bikini. Bikini. Workout bo**ie shorts. Bikini. Me holding a sourdough loaf like a newborn.

Zero blazers. Zero conference lanyards. Nothing that looks like the person LinkedIn thinks I should be.

I sat there feeling caught. Like I got called into the principal’s office of professionalism.

Then I remembered I built a business off being a whole person, out loud. The bikini shots and the sourdough and the bo**ie shorts and the seven figure strategy all live in the same woman.

Instagram rewards that. It is the only platform that lets you be a person before it lets you be a professional.

Which is exactly why it is the first place your audience decides whether they trust you.

The blazer photo can wait.

Women get humbled on a schedule.

Ask for too much and you are difficult.
Take up space and you are a lot.
Say your price without flinching and someone calls it rude.
Own your authority and the world loses its mind.

So we start humbling ourselves before anyone else gets the chance.

We shrink the offer before we hear no.
We second guess our genius zone.
We let the world hand us a smaller box and we climb right in.

Too much. Too loud. Too wild. Too sexy. Too out there.

Now consider the man in question.

He has a wife running the house, the kids, the school emails, the dentist appointments, and the birthday gift for his own mother.

Even most of the divorced ones have an ex still carrying the load so he can stay locked on revenue.

He gets to be one thing. Focused.

You priced your offer while helping with homework, defrosting chicken, and answering a client on WhatsApp.

You are doing six jobs and pitching like you deserve one.

He is doing one job and pitching like he built Rome.

Take the audacity. It was never his to begin with.

Buy the business.
Take a lover or three.
Run the world like it is yours, because it is.

I added my social accounts to Google Search Console less than 24 hours ago.

Two searches came back that I have never answered.

Is Trial Reels on Facebook.
Does Facebook have Trial Reels.

I talk about Trial Reels constantly. It never crossed my mind that people were out there searching for the Facebook version.

Now I know. And that content is already going live on my site.

That is the whole point of this tool.

You stop guessing what your audience wants. Google hands you the exact questions they are typing and you go answer them.

Twenty four hours. Two content ideas I would have never come up with on my own.

I do not sit around brainstorming topics. I pull what people search, find what I am close to ranking for, and go make the thing that takes the spot.

If you are doing SEO without Search Console, you are working blind. That now goes for your social content too.

I have a lovely form of hyperfocus that lets me get an unreasonable amount done.

I also have the version of it that misses the simplest thing on the screen and then wants to blow up the entire world about it.

Same brain. Package deal.

One missed click on a clone. Twelve hours of effort and headache.

Anyway. I am back. The world is right again. The agent is doing in an hour exactly what it was built to do.

And I can calm the f*** down now. 😂

We ate all the food. We yapped all the yaps. We shopped all my favorites.

And the best news I get to share: Walker and Savannah are adding another grandbaby to the family in November.

Number 10. Which happens to be my favorite number.

I am grateful for my family, and for clients who turn into friends and always In and Out 🙌🏻
