Today marks 12 years of Shop Pretty Pieces. No big campaign. No flashy announcements. No anniversary collection. Just quiet reflection and a heart full of gratitude.

Ironically, I started this business during Women’s History Month, not realizing I was stepping into a story much bigger than myself. What began as an idea… a leap of faith…
and a love for helping women feel beautiful… turned into something that has touched thousands of women across the country.

And today it hit me. This isn’t just a business. This is HERstory. Black history. Women’s history. Entrepreneurial history.

Twelve years of showing up.
Twelve years of believing when things were uncertain. Twelve years of dressing women in confidence.

And if you’ve ever supported Shop Pretty Pieces in any way…
bought a piece, shared a post, told a friend, or simply cheered me on, please know you are part of this story too.

So today I’m not celebrating with noise. I’m celebrating with gratitude.

And I truly believe the best chapters are still ahead.

This picture is cute, yes. But what you don’t see is the woman behind it who makes executive decisions even when nobody is clapping. I am not just posting outfits, I am building legacy. I am not just carrying a bag, I am carrying responsibility. I am not just scrolling on my phone, I am moving strategy in real time.

Authority does not always look loud.
Sometimes it looks like discipline.
Sometimes it looks like consistency.
Sometimes it looks like showing up when your numbers are low and your faith still high.

If you want to lead, you cannot wait to feel ready. You decide. You move. You adjust. You execute.
