Labor Day Weekend!!

Always stoked for the racing this time of year.. it’s been a year since I had a good one at Calistoga. I’m so grateful to have bounced back and had as great of a year as I’ve had. Not just racing but with life in general. I’m so grateful for the people in my circle and I’m so lucky to have all of you around. I will be taking this year off at Calistoga but will happily be in the stands with a good group of people! Come on out Monday to watch the 52 at Petaluma 🤘🏻🍻🏁

Had a great battle with Tuttle through lapped traffic, led most of the race, he got me in traffic, worked my ass off to get him back. Did so but on restart got put in second. 5 laps to go in open air had nothing for him. Congrats to him and his team I hope we put on a good show. Couple weeks off we’ll be back on Labor Day for the Monday show with the Ultimate Sprint Car Series in the 52 🤘🏻

Track was old school juiced up, pulled about 30 tear offs in 25 laps. Pretty locked down just had to be patient and be there when it mattered! Happy that the car is back running healthy and very grateful for everyone involved that helped get us there! We’ll be back this coming Saturday at Petaluma with the Hunt Series, hope to see you all there!

Dave Lindt Jr. Memorial Wingless Race

Qualified 3rd

Heat 6th > DNF

Main Event 12th > 2nd

Car was floating the valves in our qualifying session, found out we had some shot valve springs. Was very fortunate to have some good people pitted next to us at the race track. Shawn Arriaga, his team, and Dave Johnson insisted I drive their car so I could race, they knew how much people came out to see us on what was a special night for my team, and they almost didn’t take no for an answer. It was hard for me to do but once we committed both teams stepped up to make the changes we needed between cars. Starting in the back of the rest of the events were the rules after a car swap. We tagged a car in the heat race, bent the front axle, started to regret the decision for a moment after that but ended up fixing it and putting on a great run in the main event. Wanted to win the thing but what a great night it was overall. Thank you all once again, especially to my crew and the Arriaga/Johnson crew for making it happen for me. That 32 car was badass.. Gonna get this motor dealt with shortly and hope to see you at the next one this coming Saturday 🤘🏻🏁

PETALUMA SPEEDWAY ADDS ADDED MONEY WINGLESS SPEC SPRINTS ON CANCELLED NARC DATE OF AUGUST 1

Due to NARC cancelling their August 1st date, Promoter Rick Faeth has added the SRML Environmental Wingless Spec Sprints as a makeup race for one lost to weather earlier this year. This race will still be the Dave Lindt, Jr Memorial and pay $1500 to win and $200 to start for racers. Yes, this is also a Petaluma Speedway points race for the SRML Environmental Wingless Spec Sprint Cars.

Dwarf Cars, Hobby Stocks and Mini Stocks will also be racing as scheduled.

July 11th with the Ultimate Sprint Car Series

Just got home from camping so late recap again!

Qualified 5th overall

Heat Race 5th > 4th

Main Event 6th > 5th

Car was awesome, made a pass for the lead, yellow came out. Made another pass for the lead, another yellow came out. Sat in 2nd for a while, started to lose some distance from the leader so tried going a line higher and absolutely lost drive and fell back to 5th. Didn’t know why we lost so much speed but then saw our tires. Overall great first outing with that series and felt good to have the 52 come out and be competitive!

We had a pretty tight car in the feature, biked on the initial start having to start on the outside row but once we were able to settle down to a lower groove the car worked great and just had to not make a mistake with some fast guys behind us. Overall we had a great night, stuck up top on initial start fell back to 3rd , made it back up to 2nd and stayed there. Lots of yellows nothing to get lucky in traffic with behind a fast 1st place car! Cars ready to go for our next race in Petaluma on June 27th!
