Upcoming Webinar!

Think Like a Publisher From the Start

Authors have many questions as they embark on their indie-publishing journey. Most feel at least a little overwhelmed, and for good reason: never in book publishing history have so many choices been available! In this presentation, Michele DeFilippo, owner of 1106 Design, will discuss the “big publisher” thought processes for book cover and interior design, and share the tried-and-true principles that quality book publishers have followed for generations.

By the end of the webinar, authors will feel empowered to discuss these issues with their chosen professionals, leave the stress behind, and enjoy their ideal publishing path.

If you’re toying with the idea of writing a book, know that the journey starts long before hitting “publish.” Build the right mindset, understand your options, and don’t fall for the hype.

Maybe that’s the point — knowing the facts is the best success strategy. Worth thinking about.

Here's a "before and after" example of a recent book cover design. We love it when authors are pleased with our work! Thank you, ladies!

We submitted the "Before" cover to our book designers. It was a rough draft created by Rebecca, yet it contained the elemental ideas we wanted. When the cover designer asked what we wanted in a book cover, we replied, "elegantly simple."

We think the designers nailed it!
