🙌 The best way to understand a community’s work is to experience it firsthand.

And that’s exactly what we helped our partner Rancho Feliz create. 💙

Last month, we helped bring a group of leaders and executives to Agua Prieta, Mexico to see the impact Rancho Feliz is making up close. 🇲🇽

From walking through the community to hearing directly from families and students, the visit helped people better understand the importance of long-term investment across the border.

The group stayed at La Hacienda Feliz, a space created for volunteers, retreats, and groups looking to connect more deeply with the community and the work happening there. 🏘️

📣 Part of our work with Rancho Feliz has been helping bring more clarity to their communication and helping more people understand the impact of the work happening in Agua Prieta.

🎬 Check out our first official animation project created for TAPAZ/ Health Foundation AZ

What started as an idea turned into months of scripting, storytelling, graphic design, voiceover review, and animation to help explain what Fiscal Sponsorship is and the work TAPAZ does to support nonprofits.

They shared that many organizations have heard the term before, but still aren’t fully sure what it means or how it works. 🧡

So we helped bring it to life in a way that makes it easier to understand.

From there, we:

✔️ shaped the concept and story
✔️ mapped out each scene through storyboards
✔️ designed and animated the visuals
✔️ reviewed voiceover submissions to make sure the tone matched the story and direction
✔️ brought everything together through close collaboration
✔️ And transcreated the content into Spanish

✍️ Through animation, we made the term Fiscal Sponsorship easier to understand so nonprofits can see how TAPAZ can support their mission.

Since joining us last July as a design intern, she’s contributed to the graphics and visuals you’ve seen across our social media platforms, bringing creativity and consistency to our brand.

During her time at ASU, she was deeply involved in student-led design exhibitions and showcases. Not only was she a participant, but she was also a team lead and organizer, helping plan and execute events that brought the design community together.

You may have already seen him at our events and networking with the community over the past couple of weeks.

He’s here through the YLAI / Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), a program that brings entrepreneurs from across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada to the U.S. for business exchanges and leadership development.

Jorge is the co-founder of Protolab | Agencia de Marketing Digital & Diseño, where he helps companies improve their digital presence through paid advertising, branding, and growth-focused marketing strategies.

We’ve enjoyed having him with us so far and are looking forward to the next couple of weeks of sharing ideas and learning from each other.

With 300+ community leaders in the room, Arizona really showed up for the launch of Pa’Adelante for Advance Community.

After more than a year of working on this, it was great to finally see it come to life and feel the energy in the room as we look ahead to what’s next for the work continuing across Arizona.

We hope you left inspired, met someone new, and honestly just had a great time. 🤝🏽
