This week, as a part of University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication's "Ducks Shadow Ducks" program, we had the honor of hosting Itzayana and Madelynn in our office. They're both pursuing Public Relations majors and they joined us for a "Food for Thought" discussion on communication efforts for America 250 and a tour around downtown featuring Lance and Christina presenting some of the amazing work we've done for our clients over the years. We also had the opportunity to meet with them one on one to talk about our career paths and what they can expect when working in an agency setting. They both have bright futures ahead of them and we wish them the best. Go Ducks!

After 29 years at KATU News, Helen Raptis, host of AM Northwest, retired last week. We've worked with her a number of times setting up interviews for our clients, including the Oregon Department of Education when we assisted them with their Career & Technical Education campaign.

We appreciate all her hard work and dedication to Portland over the years and wish her the best in this next chapter. Congrats, Helen!

We're pleased to announce that our agency and the Oregon Health Authority won a Gold Telly Award for Oregon's 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline spots in the Campaign-Public Service PSA category!

Through a series of vignettes, out-of-home materials and more, our trauma-informed "Connect to Hope" campaign encouraged people across our state to call, text or chat with 988's compassionate and caring counselors before they’re in crisis. Much appreciation to our client team, Dean Carson and Lauren Palma, Chapin and Claire from the CK team, writers Shelby, Mauricio and Eva, and Dylan Snyder for the wonderful post-production work.
