A correction needs to be made to the Easter service times. The Red Oak First United Methodist Church is holding Easter service at 9 a.m. on April 5. The information printed with the Red Oak FUMC applies to The Bridge in Red Oak. The Bridge will hold a communion service at 6:30 p.m. April 2, and an Easter service at 11 a.m. April 5. We apologize for the error.

The Opinion-Tribune will be publishing a commemorative special section in May honoring graduates from the GCHS Class of 2026. There is no cost to have your graduate’s photo and information published in the section. Photos may be dropped off in person in the high school office (where graduate information forms are available) or may be emailed directly to The Opinion-Tribune at [email protected].

If emailing photo to the newspaper, please include the following information: Graduate’s name, parents’ names and the graduate’s post-high school plans (college, enter workforce, join military, etc.). Please note, the deadline for submitting is April 15.

🎨 Corner Conference Art Show – Come Support Our Student Artists!

Middle and high school art students from across the Corner Conference have been hard at work preparing for the 2026 Corner Conference Art Show, hosted this year by Stanton High School. The show will feature outstanding artwork from schools across the conference, and the public is invited to attend—admission is free!

🖼 What you’ll see:
Student artwork in a variety of categories including drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, sculpture, commercial art, decorative art, and more. Pieces will be judged in three divisions: Middle School, High School Beginning Art, and High School Advanced Art, with Best of Show and ribbon awards presented.
