My latest project - a mural for city of Keizer. It took a little over a week to paint partly through heat wave temperatures and then a few days off for rain. Painting on brick was a new experience for me and tackling the straight lines using Frog Tape was also a fun challenge. All in all it’s been well received so I’m happy about the outcome.
(It’s about 10x12 ft. I used Nova Color paints mostly, and in some areas I used Behr exterior semi-gloss latex paint.)

Here is a workshop I’m offering at Chemeketa Cellars on April 18th from 1-4 pm. It’s a fun still life painting experience and requires no experience. If you or someone you know might be interested, see the link for more information.

I’ll be setting up an arrangement of fresh flowers and walking you through step by step to paint from life. It’s a fun and relaxing, hands-on way to learn some acrylic painting skills, while enjoying the ambiance of the vineyard.

These three paintings are in the annual “Something Red” exhibit at the Elsinore Gallery 444, in downtown Salem, through the month of December. See at 444 Ferry St., along with many other wonderful works of art.
