this cake was part of my business name launch between training with International Image Institute and having my baby Elle last year, so it feels pretty fitting to bring it back for another year around the sun, because why not? 😉🍰

Looking at this photo now feels a little surreal. When I launched Bloom in Color, I had a vision for creating a space where women, men & kids could discover the colors that make them feel confident and completely themselves. Since then, I’ve had the joy of watching this little dream bloom into something I’m so proud of 🥹

Today, I’m celebrating another year of life, motherhood, business, growth, and all the beautiful things in between ✨

REVEAL: she’s COOL 💙 PT. II

When color analysis acts like a natural face lift 😉🙌🏻

Look closely at her jawline in the cool blue drape versus the green. The blue creates a more lifted effect, while she starts to sit on the green drape, which also starts to add a subtle yellow cast to her skin 🙅🏻‍♀️

That’s one clue pointing toward a cool or cool-neutral undertone, and just one of the many drape comparisons I use in the process!

And… she also has hazel eyes 👀 meaning we probably won’t hate blue and greens paired with them, but this is why I look at how colors react with your skin first, then hair, and eyes last.

You’ll find every eye color across every season, so your eye color + pattern are just a supporting clue, not the first thing to determine your undertone or season 🌈
