Laeeq Khan, Social Media Strategist & PR Consultant, Vibrant Dynamics
Laeeq is a doctoral candidate in the Media & Information Studies (MIS) program at Michigan State University. He has a diverse educational background with an undergraduate specialization in Economics, an MS in Telecommunications Systems Management and Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He is interested in researching the
dynamics of user behavior and engagement, focusing on social media use for business, learning, and public relations (PR). Working in various capacities in both the academia and the industry has given him considerable exposure in dealing with complex issues. By virtue of offering marketing and PR related consultancy services to various organizations, he is never short of novel research ideas that further fuel his passion for research. As a social media strategist at Vibrant Dynamics he enjoys dealing with complex issues facing organizations and businesses in creating and maintaining effective and integrated marketing communication strategies. In the research domain, he is particularly interested in researching user behavior, Internet skills, and what motivates individuals to engage with media; and how it could impact public relations campaigns and social media journalism.
