Our Founder and President, Tom Hanchette, pictured here with Officer Shenderovsky, recently donated LifeVac devices to the Village of West Salem Police Department and First Responders.

LifeVac is an innovative, easy-to-use airway clearance device designed to help save someone experiencing a choking emergency. The donation will equip all nine squad cars and both first responder vehicles in the Village of West Salem.

“Ideally, these devices never need to be used, but I’m grateful our officers and first responders will now have another effective tool available in an emergency,” said Tom. “I encourage other businesses to check with their local responders to see if there’s a need in their community as well - and to consider having these devices available in their own workplaces.”

In May of 2005, programming wiz Ryan Born joined us fresh out of college to lead the development of our in-house online store platform, which was built to support everything from swag shops to reward programs and beyond.

He quickly became an integral part of our growth, with the synergy between Tom and Ryan playing a huge role in shaping Identity Works into one of the most capable companies in the industry.

Ryan became a minority partner in 2012 and is now approaching his 21st Anniversary with the company… where does the time go? And somehow, he still looks this young today 😄
