Imagine this... you've written a BEAUTIFUL email for your email list. Everything is exactly where you want it, your jokes are on point, your call to action is FANTASTIC, and the last thing you need to do before pressing send... write a subject. 🫠
Not to worry friends, it's actually not as stressful as you might think! Here are 5 Quick Tips on how to write a strong subject line ⤵️
1️⃣ Keep it short & sweet – Aim for 6-10 words max! Clarity beats cleverness when people are skimming through their inbox.
2️⃣ Be specific about what’s inside – Tease the value you're offering! For example, “10 Tips to Boost Your Sales Today” gets more attention than “Check Out Our Blog.”
3️⃣ Create a sense of urgency – But don’t overdo it! If there’s a time-sensitive offer, use phrases like “Last Chance” or “Limited Spots Available.”
4️⃣ Avoid spammy words – Words like "free," "win," or "urgent" can send your email straight to the spam folder. Keep it genuine and professional.
5️⃣ Personalize whenever possible – Including the recipient’s name or a relevant topic can improve open rates by making your email feel more relevant and less generic.
