We’ve been a little busy lately! 👀

Between client content shoots, events, team lunches and exciting launches, the last few months at Lifeboat Creative have been full of a little bit of everything.

We’ve celebrated birthdays and workiversaries, gone antique shopping at Hewitt’s, tried some unique sodas in a blind taste test and celebrated the launch of Dutch Auto Auctions. We also teamed up with Method Media for a collaborative shoot featuring drone footage for a client and captured new photos of our team.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on plenty of exciting client projects, including a new website and rebrand for Plumbers & Pipefitters Apprenticeship Training of Kansas. We also have something we’re excited to share with you all very soon!

It’s been a busy season of creating, collaborating and celebrating, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to behind the scenes!

What does it take to launch a brand?

We developed the strategic foundation for Dutch Auto Auctions, a brand that isn’t simply entering the auction space, but changing how the auction process works with a reverse auction style inspired by the Dutch model. The brand needed to clearly communicate what made its model different while connecting with their audience of enthusiast car lovers.

We established the brand’s visual identity, positioning, messaging and voice, creating a cohesive foundation to guide how Dutch Auto Auctions shows up across all touchpoints. From the brand style guide and taglines to the broader marketing strategy, every element was developed to build recognition, communicate the value of the auction model and create a distinct place in the automotive
auction landscape.

Some client relationships span more than a decade.

We first partnered with Plumbers & Pipefitters Apprenticeship Training of Kansas (PPATKS) in 2012 to create their website. After several conversations over the past few years about updating the site, the PPATKS team was ready to bring the project to life in 2026.

Early conversations about the new website also revealed an opportunity to refresh PPATKS’s brand. We recommended updating the visual identity first so the new website could be built around a brand that better reflects who they are today.

We’re proud to have been part of their story for more than 10 years and are excited to see where this next chapter takes them.

We’re proud to have helped Sedgwick County’s 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline awareness campaign come to life!

Working alongside the Sedgwick County COMCARE team, we developed a mix of digital and physical assets to help raise awareness of the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, including digital ads, audio ads, AMC movie theater pre-rolls, posters, mall banners, bus billboards and coasters.

The campaign launched in July, helping connect more people across Sedgwick County with this important resource.

It’s exciting to look back at the milestones that have shaped the firm’s history and celebrate the legacy built over the past seven decades. Here’s to many more years of success!

Continuing our 75th anniversary celebration with another look back at our history.

In 1964, the firm—then known as Collins Hughes Martin Pringle & Schell—moved to the 14th floor of the brand-new Wichita Plaza Building at 125 N. Market. Over the years, the building has also been known as Vickers Tower, the KSB&T Building, and SCTelcom.

From one milestone to the next, we're proud to celebrate 75 years of serving our clients and community.

June kept us on our toes... so much so that our monthly recap is arriving a little late. 😅

It was another month packed with client wins, content shoots, strategy meetings and plenty of client merch showing up at the office. Every week brought something new, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Even with full calendars and busy schedules, we always make time to connect as a team. Those moments are just as important as the work itself.

Here's to another month of creating, collaborating and helping our clients grow. On to July! 🚀

Meet our summer intern, Adam Hristov.

Originally from a suburb outside Chicago, Adam chose to attend KU for its strong creative program and his longtime love of KU basketball. He’s currently studying design with a focus in photography and is passionate about creative storytelling and visual identity.

When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll probably find him fishing, playing tennis, talking baseball or keeping up with the latest in AI and design trends. Inspired by brands like New Balance, he’s especially interested in brand strategy, identity and learning how brands build personality and connection.

We’re excited to have Adam on the team this summer and look forward to seeing his creativity and perspective come to life in upcoming projects.
