Shocker Ad Lab Shocker Ad Lab is an agency run by WSU students offering advertising, marketing, and PR across print, broadcast and interactive platforms.

This is a class run as a student advertising agency. With a history stretching back to the 1980s, the current incarnation was established in 2015 in the Elliott School of Communication at Wichita State University, and rebranded as Shocker Ad Lab in 2017.

Congratulations to students in Shocker Ad Lab spring 2025: Briaja Tucker - art director, Auryona Webb - copywriter and Hallie Fritz - project manager on your first-place win in the Kansas Professional Communicators annual professional communication contest in the "Advertising Campaign" category for the work you did for the Society of Professional Journalists Kansas Pro Chapter, branding and promoting "Wichita Gridiron: Wickedly Funny."
Having won first place in state, this entree goes on to compete in the National Federation of Press Women national communication contest.
