We are super pumped to be part of the LOOM, a fashion incubator and cultural hub, offering everything from office and coworking space to creative studios, new equipment, and vibrant event spaces in downtown Columbus. We are excited to be part of this growing community and are already starting on collaborations. In this piece we are projecting on the Artwork of Artist Andrew Lundberg. She is such a beautiful mural and we wanted to bring her to life by opening her eyes. What is she thinking about? Her gaze is purposeful and confident.

Moving through the sublime, light mimics waves, celestial landscapes, and deep dwelling emotions. Through projection and classical compositions OBLSK and Callisto Quartet presented an evening filled with visual and musical landscapes. Thank you McConnell Arts center for hosting the performance, the Q&A and the wonderful reception after. We loved hearing the thoughts from the audience.
The Callisto Quartet is a talented ensemble and it was wonderful to watch and hear their expertise and passion behind the scenes.

The Columbus Fashion Alliance (CFA) is a keystone in moving fashion forward here in Columbus and the surrounding region. We have been super pumped to be able to collaborate with the CFA on multiple projects including the Infrared Show, a retail pop up shop created by the Future of Fashion Cohort, Under the Current, a downtown festival that celebrates public art, and performance, and The LOOM event center, a new and upcoming space to hold events as well as the CFA future Headquarters.

Check out these inspiring installations by Warhol & Wall St. (W&W) We love working with Warhol and Wall St. because W&W raises the roof when it comes to community engagement, educating on important initiatives such as the LinkUS BRT Public Transportation, Zone In the modernizing of the zoning code, and PACT Neighborhood Development Projects. We also collaborated on the GCAC Art Action and Activation Book Release event that highlighted the artist’s response to the murder of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter Protest. Over the Summer W&W hosts the Content Creator’s Camp which engages high school students to design and create for a final exhibition. And for fun! We did projection for the AJ3 Nike shoe release and for the W&W Good Times Outside traveling Bus.

One area that OBLSK is super passionate about is creating a line of eco-marketing. W&W has been in line with this vision and have incorporated this mindset into their Gallery installations.

The display we did for the PACT exhibition was 85% recyclable. (Thank you Key Blue Prints!)

The Blue Jay and the Cardinal, The Snowfall, The Forest, The Night Sky. We loved creating this serene projection installation for Conservatory Aglow, a magical light journey where the audience gets to explore the Franklin Park Conservatory botanical gardens through light in the months of November and December.

For this media piece, we used a mix of stop motion animation with digital effects. We loved the peaceful animations and the story of the Cardinal and Blue Jay’s friendship as they celebrate Winter together. The Blue Jay and Cardinal animations were inspired by Artist Charlie Harper, a Cincinnati based artist that created beautiful artworks on Nature using a geometric color blocking style. Charlie Harper is one of our favorite artists!

Dead as a Dodo…
We just finished up the Chicago tour with Wakka Wakka productions. Where Wakka Wakka’s award winning Dead as a Dodo Production opened the Chicago International Puppet Festival! It has been thrilling to travel with Wakka Wakka’s international team. Every visit to a new city or country we get a gargantuan dose of inspiration. On this tour we performed in the Studebaker’s theater, housed inside the Art Institute of Chicago building, which some of you might recognize from NPR’s Wait Wait don’t tell me weekend talk show. Pelham got to meet Peter Segal! The Studebaker theater crew were all stars, so knowledgeable, and helpful The Chicago International Puppet Theater festival brings the best of the best in puppet theater and we were super excited to see works by artists Laura Height and Andrew Kim ……………….Chicago is an amazing city. The Bean Anish Kapoor

Have you been to the I lIke it Like That Bar? If not, why not? Curated intimate spaces, beautifully concocted cocktails, and culinary delights. Not to forget to mention that it is connected to Natalie’s wood fired pizza and live music! Plus OBLSK has a rotating projection installation. From the dark depths of Nosferatu to the overjoyfully bliss and sparkles of the Holidays to deep space. What will the February season bring us? Perhaps something lovely?

Happy Hour is 5-6pm

We love working with the City of Westerville as they continue to bring PUBLIC ART to the people of Westerville. We are embarking on 5 years of creative collaboration where OBLSK has done the projection and light installation at Holiday festivals, State of the City Addresses, and the September 11th memorial. Each year we see a consistent increase in the attendance and excitement of these events which brings economic development to the businesses, to the people, and to the City of Westerville.

Public Art elevates everything.

Thank you City of Westerville for the forward thinking and continued patronage. We are super pumped to collaborate in 2026

The lantern is a global symbol for guidance, hope, rebirth, spiritual protection, sanctuary, and often represents the inner light of self, community, family and ancestry. The Lantern art installation, Light in the Dark, is a beautiful way to bring people together to reflect on the past, present, and future as an individual and as a community. As native Ohioans we understand how brutal the winters can be, and to celebrate with light through a co-created community Lantern project that can be viewed by the public during the months of November, December, and January creates space for peace, joy, reflection, individuality, community, and to honor the resiliency of the human spirit.

Light in the Dark is a co-created art installation by the people of Coshocton, Pomerene Center for the Arts, and OBLSK Interactive, and consists of 30 hand dyed and constructed lanterns that hang and glow vibrant colors while projecting a pathway of patterns onto the ground below at the Pomerene Center for the Arts. Each lantern is hand made and unique, made by a member of the Coshocton community and glows different colors and projects different patterns. In many cultures patterns are used to depict tribes, families, and individuals. When the 30 lanterns glow together their patterns represent a community in Coshoctan. The Lanterns are made from biodegradable materials. Small Wonders make great strides.

Light in the Dark is on display at the Pomerene Center for the Arts until January 30th.
