Sometimes the right answer isn't a Voice Agent.
I recently spoke with a business owner who was missing around 5โ10 genuine customer calls each week.
He still wanted to speak with those customers personally, so we explored several options โ including whether a Voice Agent could operate during specific hours.
But after understanding the business, the customers and what he actually wanted to achieve, we concluded that a Voice Agent wasn't the right solution for this particular situation.
Instead, we're putting a simple, cost-effective missed-call text back in place.
When a call is missed, the customer will receive an immediate message letting them know the business will get back to them.
We'll review the results in a couple of weeks.
Did it help keep customers warm?
Did it reduce lost opportunities?
Most importantly, did it help eliminate some of the opportunities currently being missed?
That's the part I'm interested in finding out.
A Voice Agent may have been the more valuable project for me, but it wasn't the right solution for my client.
Why sell something that doesn't solve the problem?
I'd rather deliver something that works, prove its value, and build from there.
