As our new Client Engagement Lead, Kaylee has a knack for seeing the big picture, bringing creative ideas and strategy together into a cohesive plan, and making sure people feel seen and heard along the way.

When she’s not creating those “aha!” moments with clients and teammates, you’ll find her cooking, gardening, cycling, hiking or rediscovering her love of watercolour painting.

As we’ve recently emerged from webinar-land (although, let’s be real, are we ever fully out of webinar-land?), we’ve been reflecting on what actually makes a webinar effective.

At Forward Level, an effective webinar includes crafting social posts, ads and invitation emails to introduce the topic, followed by reminders and an opportunity to submit questions ahead of time.

After the session, we send out the replay along with ways to connect with the presenters, so attendees can revisit the discussion and get support with questions specific to their business.

Planning for the full experience helps create a webinar that sticks with people long after they’ve closed Zoom.

Outside of HR, she’s a foodie, traveller and creative explorer who co-founded Hunny Micro Creamery with her sister, blending Asian-inspired flavours with her love of creativity, community and sharing something new.

Over the past 15 years, Amish has built Forward Level into an incredible team and community where we’re encouraged to think bigger, see things differently, and do work that has a real impact on the people and businesses we support.

Amish, your leadership, mentorship, and energy have shaped so much of who we are. You’re always willing to share what you know, challenge our thinking, and motivate us to keep pushing forward.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Forward Level has accomplished and grateful for all the people who have been part of the journey.

For business owners, employers, and HR leaders, documenting the termination is only part of the process. But was everything that happened beforehand documented too?

Each disciplinary action can become an important part of an employee’s record. It documents what happened, how the employer responded, and what steps were taken as the situation developed.

If previous incidents, conversations, warnings, or responses haven’t been properly documented, this may become significant when an employer is considering termination for cause.

Earlier this week, the Forward Level team traded the office for the golf course.⛳️

We had such a great time taking part in the 29th Annual Scotiabank Charity Golf Classic. It was an incredible day bringing people together in support of some equally incredible causes.

Forward Level was proud to sponsor the Ladies’ Closest to the Pin, and we added a little extra fun to the day with a few HR + Marketing giveaways along the way.

The morning may have started chilly and foggy, but the sun eventually showed up. It turned into a pretty perfect day to connect, have some fun, and give back.
