I had to make a video about the power of remembering someone’s “name”. Three stories, first, an amazing book by John Amaechi The Promises of Giants, a friend who hasn’t forgot a name since 2003 (ehem Derek Wu), and a personal story about how AMAZING the students are at the University of Regina summer sports camps!! 🙏🙏🙏 All because these students remembered my kids name. That’s it.

I’m BAD at remembering names, but I’m getting better! 😤👊

Thursday Aug 20th. Big Idea Camp 2026 2026 kicks off! 😎💃🤠

24 students will battle it out over two days of gruelling (well not really, more like creative fun) challenges. We can only crown one team champion of Big Idea Camp at the end of the day Friday! 🏆 Who will go home with the coveted Hi-Chew Trophy? 😳 WAIT AND SEE!!

Thanks to everyone who came to our AI workshop last week! 🤖

We tested different AI platforms, asked fun questions, ate cookies, set up custom GPTs, shared ideas on how to use it, and when you don't know what to prompt, just ask AI what to do! 😂
Followed by a delicious Bánh mì from !

The biggest takeaway? The magic isn’t really the AI. It’s what curious people are doing with it.

Keep experimenting. Keep learning. Keep asking better questions. 🚀

A throwback from Big Idea Camp 2021! 😳😍😎

Jordan McFarlen and Jeph Maystruck look a little different but camp is still the high fivin’, team buildin’, amazing race, fear factor energy all rolled into two days of non-stop entertainment!! 💃

We have a sold-out camp and couldn't be more excited!

✅ A delicious surprise visit
✅ A Leopold's Tavern lunch (been going to Leo’s for over 10 years!)
✅ A new scavenger/trivia/creativity race challenge
✅ A new local lunch challenge

It's going to be one heck of a Big Idea Camp! Only a couple more weeks until we take over Cultivator!!!

Big Idea Camp is August 20-21st at Cultivator powered by Conexus! We’re currently at 21 campers! 😳😳 Still room for a few more! ANNNNNND we have an UNREAL field trip planned for this years camp! 😁

A to 7 years ago and some of our favourite Big Idea Camp 2026 memories!!

THE Justin and Wheels (Greg) show came to camp (Wheels, Justin Reves you guys were awesome!)

A field trip to WHEELHOUSE CYCLE CLUB 🚴😳🤩There was a bet that the campers couldn’t beat Jeph. Let’s just say some of these campers were BEASTS on a bike. 🥹Jeph lost.

What the FOOD TRUCK challenge in Vic park with Regina Downtown BID (campers had to make lunch from the Farmers Market!)

Creative Options Regina (COR) has always been a fun field trip!

And 7 years ago we did a ROLLING ROBOT TOUR around Wascana Lake with only one casualty! 😂 (don’t worry, Conor was fine!)

Can’t wait for August 20th!!
