Where does it say taxes should be given to charity?? We should be able to decide which charity we pay into!

Google ‘What Taxes Pay For’ .. the answer:
Governments use tax money to pay for public services and everyday needs. These include:

* Healthcare: Hospitals and public health programs like the NHS.
* Education: Public schools, colleges, and teacher salaries.
* Public Safety: Police officers, fire departments, and the court system.
* Infrastructure: Building and fixing roads, bridges, and public transit.

So why are we being taxed more, to fund situations we do not agree with?? We should, by right, be able to opt out!! 😡
