SUPPORT & RESISTANCE
WHAT ARE SUPPORT & RESISTANCE?
π SUPPORT
A price area where buying interest may become stronger and the price may slow down or bounce.
π RESISTANCE
A price area where selling pressure may become stronger and the price may slow down or pull back.
π‘ Simple example:
Think of support as a floor and resistance as a ceiling.
β οΈ But remember: support and resistance are areas, not guaranteed levels. Price can break through them.
π― Beginner Tip
Before taking any trade, look at:
β
Market trend
β
Support & resistance
β
Candlestick confirmation
β
Risk management
Don't trade simply because price touches a support or resistance level.
π Question:
Do you want me to explain how to identify support and resistance on a real chart in the next post?

π Support & Resistance β Simple Explanation
1οΈβ£ Support = Floor π’
Support is a price area where the market has previously stopped falling and bounced upward.
In the image, the green zone at the bottom is support.
Think:
Price β β reaches support β may bounce β
But support is not guaranteed. Price can break below it.
2οΈβ£ Resistance = Ceiling π΄
Resistance is a price area where the market has previously stopped rising and moved downward.
In the image, the red zone at the top is resistance.
Think:
Price β β reaches resistance β may fall β
Again, resistance is not guaranteed. Price can break above it.
π How to use Support & Resistance
A beginner can follow these 4 steps:
Step 1: Find areas where price reacted several times.
Step 2: Mark those areas as support or resistance.
Step 3: Wait for price to return to the area.
Step 4: Look for confirmation from price action/candlesticks before considering a trade.
β οΈ Most important
Don't think:
"Price touched support, so it MUST go up."
Instead think:
"Price is at an important area. Now I need confirmation."
That's the safer way to learn.
