The end of an era at King St đŸ„‚

This month we farewelled director and shareholder, Judy Coulter.

After an impressive 27 year tenure as our Financial Controller, Jude has decided it’s time for the next chapter in life. Her role included much more than being in charge of finance. She oversaw operations, systems, processes, contracts and made sure that everything a complex business needs to run smoothly is all in hand.

Then on top of this she dealt with the every-day challenges that come our way. Every single day. If that wasn’t enough, she also fulfilled the role of “camp Mum”, all the unseen work including making sure all the cupboards were well stocked, the Easter Eggs were on all desks at Easter, the Christmas cards and gifts and everything that is required to keep us on track was in hand.

Every agency needs “that person”. The one who is an oasis of black and white in a sea of shades of grey. The one who worries about margins, chargeable time and relentlessly chases every last person for their timesheets. Jude was that person. Smart, great eye for detail - could spot a typo from 100 paces, very blunt, impossible to rattle and 100% committed to King St and everything we stand for.

Over the years, as we’ve grown and evolved, Jude has been responsible for making sure all our systems, processes and reporting have been fit for purpose, bearing in mind the industry we work in is vastly different to what it was in 1999 when King St was formed.

Jude is now settling into a well-earned retirement based in Ohauiti. Playing golf, travelling, working in the garden and spending time with friends and family.

We owe so much to Jude for all she contributed to King St; we would not be in this position without all her blood, sweat and tears. Congratulations Jude, and thanks for everything. Your best days are ahead.

This year was extra special as it marked our 15th anniversary as a Platinum Sponsor. From print and outdoor to radio and digital, it’s been an honour bringing the HAF brand to life across every touchpoint.

A special shoutout to our crew who made it happen:

Anyone who has been to King St will have seen the amazing mural on our internal wall. One of the main contributors was Ali Selliman who is now in a major health battle. Ali has made a huge contribution to our community through his art and helped create an incredible statement about King St’s ethos. All help welcome.

It’s been three weeks since Fieldays 2025 - New Zealand’s largest agricultural event, and we’re still buzzing!

Each year we get to collab with our clients and site build teams to bring to life brand and product messaging across some incredible spaces. If you didn’t make it along check out these pics of LIC's Home of Herd Improvement, MSD Animal Health home of SenseHub Dairy and Allflex, and Seales Winslow’s indoor pavilion site.

It was a pleasure to work alongside you all, until next year!

Shout out to BrandX for making it happen!

Stepping in front of the camera to talk about your work isn’t easy for most people. So it was an honour to help bring to life the stories of the incredible individuals behind the HeretoHelpU initiative. Quite simply, they help people get help. Hats off to you! We can’t wait to share the results soon
