The end of an era at King St đ„
This month we farewelled director and shareholder, Judy Coulter.
After an impressive 27 year tenure as our Financial Controller, Jude has decided itâs time for the next chapter in life. Her role included much more than being in charge of finance. She oversaw operations, systems, processes, contracts and made sure that everything a complex business needs to run smoothly is all in hand.
Then on top of this she dealt with the every-day challenges that come our way. Every single day. If that wasnât enough, she also fulfilled the role of âcamp Mumâ, all the unseen work including making sure all the cupboards were well stocked, the Easter Eggs were on all desks at Easter, the Christmas cards and gifts and everything that is required to keep us on track was in hand.
Every agency needs âthat personâ. The one who is an oasis of black and white in a sea of shades of grey. The one who worries about margins, chargeable time and relentlessly chases every last person for their timesheets. Jude was that person. Smart, great eye for detail - could spot a typo from 100 paces, very blunt, impossible to rattle and 100% committed to King St and everything we stand for.
Over the years, as weâve grown and evolved, Jude has been responsible for making sure all our systems, processes and reporting have been fit for purpose, bearing in mind the industry we work in is vastly different to what it was in 1999 when King St was formed.
Jude is now settling into a well-earned retirement based in Ohauiti. Playing golf, travelling, working in the garden and spending time with friends and family.
We owe so much to Jude for all she contributed to King St; we would not be in this position without all her blood, sweat and tears. Congratulations Jude, and thanks for everything. Your best days are ahead.
