Brian McKeiver, our Co-Owner and Solution Architect, and Rex Rainey, our Creative Lead, are both presenting on Friday, October 30, at Oakland University in Rochester.

MITechCon pulls in the people who actually build and maintain technology across Michigan, along with the product and UX leaders shaping what it delivers. That is the same group we work with on client projects every week.

Both sessions came out of real project work. One on deciding what to modernize in a 15-year-old platform. One on where AI actually fits in a creative workflow.

Most brands do not go stale overnight. They drift.

A new service gets added. A new hire tweaks the logo. The tone on social gets a little more casual with every post. None of it feels like a problem until the gap is already wide.

Rex Rainey, our Creative Lead, put together the 16 signs we look for when a client suspects their brand is due for an update. The first four all point to visual drift, including one that is easy to miss: when your own team quietly reaches for the old logo file because it is easier to find than the current one.

Techno-Coat has been perfecting powder coating since 1983. We recently worked with them to fix a website that wasn't keeping pace, and had actually started working against them.

The West Michigan manufacturer's site had real problems. Inconsistent hosting caused it to fail intermittently, sometimes throwing browser security warnings before a prospect ever saw what Techno-Coat could do. Leads were falling through the cracks. And as more manufacturers started vetting suppliers through AI search before ever picking up the phone, Techno-Coat was nowhere to be found.
