Lots of marketing advice will tell you: “If you want to grow, spend more on lead generation.”

But in 2026, simply "buying more leads" is a race to the bottom. In my work with growing businesses, once we look at their complete marketing picture and put relevant metrics in place—we often see something else:

~ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗼" 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁: Ownership, website, social media, and sales teams aren't on the same page.
