The Louisiana Tourism Fund is proud to donate $10,000 to the LSU Foundation in honor of Karron Alford and the incredible legacy she left on Louisiana’s tourism industry.

Throughout her career, Karron’s work took her around the world, allowing her to build connections, experience new cultures, and share her love for Louisiana far beyond our state. In her honor, this scholarship will support study abroad opportunities for students in LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business, giving future leaders the chance to learn, travel, and broaden their view of the world just as Karron did.

We are also incredibly grateful to Destinations International for contributing funds to this donation and helping us further Karron’s legacy.

Karron believed in the power of travel and now, her impact will help the next generation experience that same power for themselves.
