Global Meetings Industry Day is a reminder of the powerful role meetings and events play in our state’s economy. Across Louisiana, our fellow statewide associations including the Police Jury Association of Louisiana (PJAL), Louisiana Municipal Association (LMA), Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA), and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) help drive this impact by hosting events that generate business, support local economies, and foster meaningful connections. Collectively, these meetings account for approximately 5,000 hotel room nights, underscoring their significant economic impact across the state.
