Sending one email a month is totally fine for most solo practitioners. What doesn't work is disappearing for 8 months, then sending 4 emails in one week because a workshop needs filling. What rhythm could you keep up with?

List your services the way a client would search for them. Poetic names are lovely on a menu. Google (and a nervous first-timer) needs plain words.

When someone searches "acupuncture near me," the first thing they usually see is a map with three businesses pinned to it. Those listings come from Google Business Profile, and it's free.

practices have been fined from a few thousand into the tens of thousands for getting this wrong. but you can still build strong social proof, you just have to do it carefully.

the fix is a full funnel: local search, a site that converts, ads aimed at your open slots, and referral relationships that send patients. more of the right people, booking with the clinician who’s open.

elective ultrasound studios have a marketing problem almost nobody else has. your customer is intensely, emotionally yours for a few months, and then they have the baby and they’re gone.

the playbook most agencies hand a local business does not fit that. what fits comes down to three things:

-be impossible to miss the second someone starts searching
-make the most of the few months you have them
-turn their joy into the next family’s first phone call
