From the first School of Journalism to the first Homecoming, Mizzou has a long history of doing things first and finest. 🐯
That tradition continues today through the students helping bring one of Mizzou’s biggest traditions to life.
Strategic communication and journalism students are putting their skills to work as members of Mizzou’s Homecoming Steering Committee, the student-led group behind the planning and promotion of Homecoming. From public relations and outreach to campus decorations, their work gives them the chance to take what they’ve learned beyond the classroom, all while helping shape a tradition that started right here at Mizzou.
Read Riley Palshaw’s story to meet the students behind the tradition and learn more about the work that goes into making Mizzou Homecoming happen. 🖤💛
