What does "Ted Lasso" have in common with escape rooms and professional development? ⚽ The MediaSource 2026 Spring Summit!

Our summits are some of the best weeks of the year with our team. Remote team members join us in-office from across the country, expert thought leaders are brought in to educate and inspire, and out-of-office memories are made.

This year's summit was all about believing: Believing in our team and believing in ourselves. Enter our full-blown "Ted Lasso" theme 👋 On the surface, "Ted Lasso" is a show about soccer. But at its heart it's about leadership, teamwork, resilience and believing in people.

That's exactly how we want to show up for our team, clients and industry this year 💜

Lisa was recognized in the Agency Leaders category, which honored exceptional women who have deeply contributed to the agencies they lead. Trained as a television reporter, producer and anchor, Lisa founded our agency in 1998 with a vision to lead the visual revolution in public relations. The concept for the company, video storytelling, was born in a time when PR was mostly focused on the written word. Move over, Timothée Chalamet. Who will be trending on social media following the ✨ Purple ✨ Globes?

With our crew of expert storytellers and creatives, a film competition just made sense. Hello, first-ever Purple Globe Awards 🌟 Each team member produced at least one video in a category of their choice.

Film categories included:

🗓️ Slice of Life: Give us a glimpse into your day-to-day, your routines, your passions!

🐶 Pets: Introduce us to your favorite furry friend(s)!

💻 At Work: Take us inside your workday! We want to see behind the scenes of your role.

✈️ Home or Away: Whether you’re a homebody or love to travel, take us somewhere.

📱 Social Media: Try your hand at a trending social media video format GRWM, challenges, trends, ASMR, etc.

Instead of the Beverly Hilton, the Purple Globes were hosted in our 2,500-square-foot multimedia studio with film screenings and live voting for each category. Over 27 years in business and some things remain the same: Our award-winning creative team knows how to have fun 💜

PR Daily, PR News and PRSA Central Ohio recognized our team for excellence in visual storytelling this year, but what would Bob Ross say? 🎨 For being communicators that specialize in video, we did pretty well putting paint on the canvas at Pinot's Palette during our 2025 Fall Retreat.

We host at least two team retreats each year. These weeks are special 💜 They allow us time to pause and connect with a purposeful focus on the future of MediaSource. More to come from Fall Retreat '25!
