Posey surprised by the hose,
Followed by my new bff Paulie
Finishing with Paulie kicking his leg like a dog 😂

Paulie better watch out… he’s quickly becoming a favorite, which is a huge upgrade from “asshole” 😂❤️

A little Halloween fun for the best flock around 🎃🧡

I never thought Paulie would warm up to humans. He is vastly different from the other lambs and especially his angel brother Gabriel. But my golly, a few days ago he finally decided to give it a go! He is quickly learning that I can itch all of his scratchy spots, that I am quite lovable and safe. 🥹

Chuck Norris is in pure bliss 🥰

It is crazy how much the lambs’ coloring has changed in six months 😭 Also, can we appreciate Posey’s little tail wiggles? And Paulie’s little baby baaaa 🥹

Another bed in! We are letting them overwinter because this ground really needs nutritional help, and it’s working! The surrounding grass has grown so much, and is deeply green, unlike the rest of the field.

In the spring we will top them off with a fresh round of compost before planting.

Keeping our eyes out for a manure spreader so we can fertilize the entire field, including the lower portion that will remain open space. But if we can’t find one, we will do it the “hard way” with the tractor bucket and harrow!

Wylie insisted on going for his first tractor ride 😂🚜

Dinner time is no secret around here 😆

One day I may die of a floofy stampede.

I have to sneak in petting Paulie while he thinks it’s his mom touching him 😆

Meanwhile Daisy feels left out and wants in on the action!

Paulie is a true mama’s boy ❤️
