Honored to have taken home a Silver National Addy (in art direction) Friday evening from the American Advertising Federation, recognizing our “Coming Together” set for the SEC. It was some tough competition, showcasing a tremendous portfolio of work leading to the national-level competition, and we were proud to show our creative work alongside such talented industry peers. Our CEO, Pete Lempert, recently joined Joanne Davis of Joanne Davis Consulting and Love’s CMO, Pat McLean, on stage at the ANA Advertising Financial Management Conference to talk about the importance of client-agency relationships that start and stay strong. 

In short, great work requires great relationships.

And the best partnerships are built via earlier, more honest alignment, where every stakeholder is brought to the table and stays connected over time. When everyone is aligned from the beginning, trust compounds. Relationships grow stronger. The work gets better. And you move from transactions to true partnership.

We are proud to share that TRG’s Investment Strategy co-lead Marc Hartwell served as a judge at Texas A&M University’s Marketing Strategy Senior Showcase on April 24.

The showcase represents the pinnacle of a semester-long strategic effort by Mays Business School senior marketing students in which projects are evaluated on Marketing Strategy Quality, Presentation Skills, Visual & Promotional Materials, and Q&A Performance. Twenty-four student teams competed for three departmental scholarships – a terrific way to cap the undergraduate experience.

TRG is committed to developing the next generation of marketing and advertising talent, and it starts with bridging academia to industry. While TRG gets to connect with standout talent and identify potential candidates, students get to hone their craft and network with industry professionals.

Congrats to all who participated and to the top three teams!
