Please support your local nonprofits – federal funding cuts are undermining the critical work they are doing in our community.

“The folks in the nonprofit sector are so critical as our social safety net is being attacked by the Trump administration. Don’t lose hope,” Padilla said. “We’re going to keep working together through these difficult times … this is when the community needs us the most.”

California nonprofits are bracing for greater demand as H.R. 1 takes effect while also navigating funding freezes, cancellations and changing federal rules.
