A strong day in the room.

Access Point 44 spent time inside a working production environment—on the floor, in the control room, and in conversation with people who understand how media, technology, and access intersect.

Alongside Mary (Every Day Show, The Kathy J Show), Bobby, Cody, Jennifer, and Marci, we explored what it really means to build access into systems from the start—not as an afterthought, but as a standard.

These are the kinds of conversations that move things forward.

Grateful for the time, the insight, and the alignment.

Access Point 44 continues to build in real spaces, with real people, around real solutions.

Random knowledge brain dump 🧠: The gentleman who created the Pop Tart passed away today 😢. I believe he was 90-something. Mr. Post 🎩, the original flavors were strawberry 🍓, cinnamon 🍂, and blueberry 🫐. Originally, they were supposed to be called "fruit scones" 🍇, but at the time, Andy Warhol was really big, and he was doing his pop art thing 🎨, so they upgraded the name to that, and you have Pop Tarts... I’m posting this because I know some of you have eaten your bodyweight in Pop Tarts damn those things are good anytime —I know I have. Thank you and if you’ve never eaten one of these, I question your humanity, sir 🙂 , Mr. Post. RIP 🕊️.

Breaking News:

Producer with a disability produces commercial with disabled cast, (only two pedestrians.)

I file this under:

Yes, I am Forrest Gump. (The black one.🙂)

These things have a tendency to hit me way, way after they have happened.

I was featured in the New York Times, and it took me almost two years to get happy about it. (Hahaha!) Another example are covers of magazines, and commercials.

While this fantastic event in my life is happening in real time, on a snowy day, lol, I sit looking out the window- and I am blown away.

You see, about four months ago JanSport approached me; their parent company, Vanity, which includes North Face, Vans, and other apparel, wanted me to produce a commercial that had all persons with disabilities as the principal characters in the commercial for a bag that they had designed.

A line of them, to be exact, are accessible for a person with a disability.

I'm not going to say that producing it was easy- it was some of the hardest work I've ever done.

I always had support from my production company, Listen Productions, but I tried not to lean on them.

I wanted to see if I could do it myself.

And although we really never do anything by ourselves, I'm starting to see the rewards of this effort unfold, right in front of me.

Some of the individuals that you see in this video, it's their first time on camera; and I am literally enjoying their reactions.

I am so happy that I had this opportunity, and hope to have many more. I can honestly say in real time, hell freaking yes, Stewart Tucker Lundy did this.

in full effect.

And thank you so much to Jansport, for the opportunity. I hope to work with you again. Also, to all cinematographer and directors; this was a fantastic journey.

And to the cast members, this is only just the beginning for you.

*Repost* welcome to the human experience …Dam Miss u

File this under: Reflection. 38 years ago, I dove into a lake. I was 14 at the time. My diagnosis: C-4 C-5 incomplete quadriplegic. This meant that I would have no feeling or movement from my neck down. All feeling came back, and the use of my hands would be limited. The doctor told my mother, "The best that I can hope for him is putting him in a nursing home." My overall life expectancy... 25 years old. My mother didn't except that, so neither did I. After months of therapy I went home with my mother and father, and began my life. That's what I was raised to do. Over the years, I've been faced with everything- happiness, sadness, losses and gains, surgeries, falling in love, and pleasure. That's what life is about.. living it. I have NEVER stopped for one moment to ask "why me?" When you live life with appreciation, you don't have time for that.. "why me" is irrelevant. I sometimes come across able-bodied people who, at times, look at me with pity. Inside I laugh a little and feel for them, they simply do not have a clue. Life is a gift, no matter the way in which you enjoy it. Sure, there are hard times, but everybody has them. On the opposite side of that coin there will be countless good times. It's all in how you perceive it. Do I want to walk? No, been there, done that. If I could turn back the hands of time, would I? Absolutely not, because my journey has led me to the person that I am. My experiences have given me strength and the ability to keep going forward until this physical form has ceased to exist. So when you're bitching about the most insignificant things, remember you're wasting time. Life is happening. I suggest you get a little bit before it's over, because they all come with a limited time warranty.

😜😜😜🤪🤪🤪😜 always look for the funny in life

Cultivate the positive. The more you think about a negative thought, the more it gets strengthened. If you ignore it, you are starving it.
