I am honored to be recognized as an Honoree for EnvyHerr Presents: CHAPTER 44 — The Premiere, celebrating trailblazers who are making a difference in their communities.

For more than 25 years, my journey in public relations has allowed me to tell stories, create opportunities, mentor others and use my platform to help people and brands be seen and heard. As an author, educator, public relations executive and community advocate, I remain grateful for every door God has opened and every person I have been blessed to impact along the way.

On Thursday, October 15, 2026, I’ll join an amazing group of women in Queens, New York, for A Women’s Empowerment Experience featuring fashion, film, live entertainment, networking, honorees, makeovers, community and celebration.

This evening will also bring awareness to two causes that touch so many families: Breast Cancer Awareness and Domestic Violence Awareness.

Thank you to EnvyHerr for recognizing my work and including me in Chapter 44. I don’t take moments like this for granted. I’m looking forward to celebrating purpose, progress, sisterhood and the women who continue to make a difference.

HOME is DC and DC is HOME.
What a weekend!

CBC Weekend has always been about bringing Black leaders, professionals and changemakers together in Washington, DC, and this year I got to experience it from so many different angles.

My family and I kicked things off on Capitol Hill, where I was honored as one of the 100 Women of Excellence. To stand among so many beautiful, gifted and progressive women was truly an honor. Thank you

Then it was time to have a little FUN! We headed over to the Cali Party where they really know how to throw a DAY PARTY! There, we met up with FAMILY, Kentucky State Senator Gerald Neal’s & hopped around the city from there.

The next morning brought everything full circle at the Prayer Breakfast at the Washington Convention Center. Seeing thousands of people gathered together in faith, fellowship and purpose was a beautiful way to close out an amazing weekend.

DC gave me a little bit of everything: honor, connections, family, fun and FAITH. My kind of weekend!
