Here is Katherine Coble's, our trusted CEO, take on the 2026 Edelman Trust Barometer, and how leaders can lean into a role that is both opportunity and responsibility.

According to the study, people believe businesses, and specifically CEOs, have an obligation to act as trust brokers, even and especially with those different from themselves.

At its core, trust brokering is the practice of building bridges across differences. It’s about identifying shared interests, translating competing needs, and helping groups move toward common ground.

The best leaders are already doing this to the benefit of their organizations.
