Next Wednesday, March 25, we're hosting our third Freedom House event: a teach-in on the lawn at the Capitol Green Space. Join us as we sing freedom songs, discuss the historical and contemporary issues with social well-being and welfare programs, and share ways we can collectively fight for freedom. ✊🏾

We are so proud to be partnering with Color Of Change and Jackson Public Schools to curate Legacy on the Block: Jackson's Cultural Day of Legacy, a free, family-centered celebration of history, culture, and community power.

In our fifteenth year of doing this important work, and at a moment when Black history is being erased, politicized, and defunded, we are investing directly in our cultural institutions and creating a shared moment of affirmation right here in Jackson.
