A little throwback to one of the first logos I ever designed, Webster Tire and Auto Service back in '09. They had opened just a few years earlier in 2006, and I had the chance to help shape their visual identity from the ground up.

Since then, Webster has grown into a trusted name in the community, and for me, seeing something you designed nearly two decades ago still out there representing a local business? That's a pretty great feeling!

One logo I'm still really proud of is the one I designed for 101.3 WMCI logo contest. I wanted it to represent Country Music with an American feel, without feeling overdone or cliché. The goal was something clean and simple, with a little cleverness built in. Something you could glance at and get, but maybe appreciate more with time.

It's been years now, but I still feel proud when I see it out in the wild. That never gets old! :)

It's great that it's still around, representing a brand long after the project wrapped up. I feel that's what a good logo (and branding) should do. It doesn't just look nice; it helps you stand out and represents who you are.

AI tools are really great for a lot of things, and I’ve been using them a lot. But I think the logos that really stick are the ones built around a conversation, not just a quick prompt. From actually understanding what a brand wants to say and then finding the visual language to say it clearly and authentically.

That's the part I really love, figuring out what you're really trying to communicate, working through it, and making it click.

Had a blast designing this logo for a new local food truck! 🍕🔥
Joe Sloppy’s Pizza & Slick’s Meat Dogs custom-built their trailer from the ground up, so it was important their look matched the personality and hard work behind that. I really enjoyed the challenge of bringing character-driven ideas to life and it's it's great to be able to help businesses stand out.

Excited to have seen their truck on the East-Side of Kirby Foods in Effingham! If you need branding, marketing, photography, or anything else in between for your business I'm always happy to help.
