Support local this weekend at Streetcar Impact Alliance's Rally on the Route block party! Celebrate, eat, drink and support the amazing local spots that make downtown Omaha unique.

Let’s party like it’s 2028!

Join us at Rally on the Route, a free block party to celebrate and support businesses in the streetcar corridor.
On Saturday, Sept. 5, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., 16th Street will be fenced off between Farnam and Harney streets for food and drinks, family-friendly fun, beats by a local DJ, and performances and activities by the Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha and and more local community partners to be announced.

🍔 Food and drink 🍺
In the block party area, participating restaurants will operate food tents or will have their doors open, serving food and drinks for purchase. Nearby restaurants from 14th to 20th streets will also be ready to welcome you. Alcohol purchased from tents or businesses within the fenced-off area will be allowed throughout the block party area.

🅿️ Parking
Park Omaha will offer $1 garage parking at the Park One garage at 1516 Douglas St. and free metered street parking within 1 block of the event for the day.

Rally on the Route is being made possible by the generous support of The Lozier Foundation and the Weitz Family Foundation. The City of Omaha, also an event sponsor, is assisting with permits and coordination.

Construction isn’t fun, but block parties are. The greater downtown area is still active, accessible and worth the trip. We hope to see you there!

We're starting September off with a bang with another Emspace announcement! As Sarah Baker Hansen expands into her new role of executive vice president, in addition to her director of public relations role, Reece Ristau has been promoted to associate director of public relations. Backed by a coast-to-coast journalism career, Reece has masterfully honed the skill of telling stories that matter, especially about the projects and partners that are helping make Omaha a better place to live, work and play.

We're happy to watch him grow into his new role and look forward to the client stories our PR team will continue to tell. Congrats, Reece!

Cheers to Project Harmony's 30 years of impact in our community and the new campus refresh to help celebrate. 🙌

The Project Harmony campus had a little anniversary glow-up! Have you noticed our new pole banners? Each parking lot has pole banners with colors to match our buildings on campus: purple for the main response building, green for our administrative building and blue for mental health services. These new banners have a twist in honor of Project Harmony's 30th Year Anniversary.

We're proud to celebrate 30 years of Project Harmony with our community. Thanks to Emspace + Lovgren for helping us celebrate!

Today is an exciting day for the Emspace team! We are pleased to announce that after many years of Elizebeth Murphy and Linda Lovgren growing Emspace + Lovgren into what it is today, Sarah Baker Hansen will guide the agency into its next chapter. She'll take the reins alongside Elizebeth over the next four years, and will fully run and own the agency in 2030.

Emspace is one of Omaha’s oldest locally owned, women-led agencies. For decades, we’ve told stories. For decades, we’ve navigated changing agency landscapes. And for decades to come, we will continue to help our community thrive.

Ribbon? Cut.
East Campus? Transformed.
Building? Together.

Brownell Talbot College Preparatory School's campus transformation process kicked off in earnest in 2024 with work starting on their newly designed East Campus. This weekend, we got to see the culmination of all of their hard work become a reality.

After working with their team on the initial project announcement, communications and capital campaign launch, it was a pleasure to see the new spaces that will provide an unparalleled educational experience for their students.

Nothing quite like seeing the Emspace office on the big screen. 🤩

Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to take a peek behind the curtain and watch an advance screening of "Who's Watching," an indie horror movie that was filmed across places in Omaha (including our office!). Written and directed by Cursive frontman Tim Kasher, the film is co-produced by Maher Jafari, Josh Ethier and former Emspacer Liz Renner.

We love the opportunity to support local art and our friends over at Film Streams. Check it out for yourself when it comes to video on demand on Sept. 18!
