From meaningful projects like the Holt Brothers Foundation’s 25th Anniversary to the countless details she manages behind the scenes, LK brings thoughtfulness, organization and a whole lot of heart to everything she does.
As she celebrates three years at Chair 8, we sat down with her to talk about the projects she’s proud of, life as a PM and what she’s looking forward to in year four. Have a read at Fresh Tracks — link in bio.
❓Is there a project you’ve managed that stands out as especially rewarding? What made it memorable?
👉 There are so many to choose from! If I had to pick one, it would be the Holt Brothers Foundation 25th Anniversary Video. Hearing the stories of the families they’ve impacted over the years and getting to work with their team on such a meaningful project was really special. We also created their 25th Anniversary logo, so it was fulfilling to see the branding and content come together so seamlessly. Projects like this are a big part of why I love what we do.
❓If Chair 8 had a theme song this year, what would it be?
👉 Now or Never from High School Musical 3. We’ve been on a roll with our projects this year, and the build up of this song encompasses how passionate our crew is.
❓What’s one thing people might not realize goes into being a great project manager?
👉 You have to be an efficient translator. There are many different ideas, personalities, and timelines to consider. It’s the project managers job to unite these into a plan that both the client and the creative team can get behind and get excited about!
