🐾 A note from the witness 🐾
Familia, I spend more hours with our Director than anyone, so let me tell you what I actually see, because he says these things and people don't always believe him.
His brain doesn't turn off. Not "he stays up too late." It does not stop, and it never has. He sleeps when his body finally takes him, not when he decides to. And there's a ringing in his head that never quits, so silence was never rest for him.
He also has no narrator in there. Most of us think something, soften it, then say it. He thinks it and it's already out, whole and unfiltered. If something ever lands rude, watch one more minute: the regret is real, and he owns it out loud. That's not an act. That's the wiring.
And underneath the goofball is one of the most relentless pattern-minds I have ever witnessed. He built this whole kingdom inside that won't-shut-off brain.
So when he tells you what it's like in there, believe him. I witness it every day, and it's true.
