FREE TALK ALERT! Writing for accessibility and writing for AI search aren’t two separate problems — they’re both rooted in the same thing: writing that people can actually understand.

If you want to dig into that overlap, our director of strategy Corey Vilhauer is speaking at Umbraco Accessibility Awareness Day (UMBRAAD) this coming Thursday, May 21. It’s a free virtual event, and his talk — “Write Once, Reach Everyone” — makes the case that the same writing practices that help screen readers also help AI search engines: clear headings, plain language, and content that doesn’t make people work to understand it.

It’s a practical argument for doing the right thing, and a way to bring more people along on the accessibility conversation.

She started as an intern, transitioned into full-time, left for a new opportunity, and then came back to Blend — so we’re very excited to FINALLY celebrate Steph’s first official five-year anniversary at Blend.

As a new mom and a seasoned athlete, we met her in the middle with a new runner’s stroller. Here’s to the next starting line ... and the next five years! 🏁5️⃣

Five years with Tori — that’s a summit worth celebrating! 🏔️👏

Tori keeps projects (and people) moving in the right direction. To celebrate, we got her travel vouchers and gifts for the great outdoors — because after five years of wrangling web projects, she’s earned some time in one of her fav places: outside. 🏕️ (We also got a little something for her pup, Otis, who patiently sits by her desk every Thursday since he was a puppy)

We’re delighted to celebrate five years of Jenna on the Blend team! As our QA Technical Analyst, she brings care, consistency, and attention to detail to everything she does.
