Deep Winter client ✨

My client has radiant, beautiful skin and she looked good in so many of the winter colours. 🤩

The last stage in analysing her subgroup was tricky. In image 2, you can see she looks lovely in the Royal blue colour which is a Cool Winter drape. But something was feeling off, once I took the picture. I started seeing all the grey and dark shadowing by the side of her face.

But when I put the Deep Teal drape on her it looked more harmonious and radiant on her features. And when looking at some of the dark Autumn colours, many of them worked well too. Dark Autumn leaned a bit too yellow so Dark Winter fit just right. She has a Cool Neutral undertone and those rich and deep shades really do enhance her features.

Can you see the difference?

I feel like I finally understand how to dress the bump. 🤰🏻✨

Watching your body grow is both beautiful and challenging at the same time. During my first pregnancy, I definitely made a few style mistakes, but this time around I feel so much more confident.

Now that I'm pregnant with my second, I know exactly what to shop for. I didn't splurge on a whole new wardrobe—instead, I chose affordable pieces that still made me feel good, worked with my colour palette, and helped me feel more like myself.

And then there's postpartum. Your body changes again, your belly softens, and if you're nursing, getting dressed can feel like another challenge altogether.

I've learned that dressing in a way that makes you feel good isn't about looking perfect—it's about feeling comfortable, confident, and put together during a season of constant change.

If you're expecting or planning to have a baby soon, I hope these tips help make getting dressed feel a little easier. 🤍

Soft Autumn vs. Light Spring 🍂🌸

These two seasons are one of the most commonly confused pairings in color analysis—and it's easy to see why. Both have a light, approachable quality and often wear softer colors better than highly saturated ones. But the reason those colors work is completely different.

🍂 Soft Autumn is defined by muted warmth. The overall appearance is blended, earthy, and low-contrast. Think soft olive greens, dusty corals, warm taupes, sage, and muted teal. Rich, smoky warmth enhances the complexion, while colors that are too bright or icy can make the skin look washed out or emphasize redness.

🌸 Light Spring is defined by lightness and clarity. While still warm, this season shines in fresh, luminous colors like peach, butter yellow, mint, aqua, and light coral. These colors bring brightness and life to the face. Muted or earthy shades, on the other hand, can make a Light Spring appear tired or dull.

✨ A common reason people get mistyped is because they focus only on warmth. Since both seasons lean warm, it's easy to assume they're interchangeable. But the real question is:

Does your coloring come alive with soft, muted harmony? → Soft Autumn

Or does it brighten with clear, fresh, light color? → Light Spring

Color analysis isn't just about whether you're warm or cool—it's about finding the combination of temperature, value, chroma, and contrast that makes you look your best.

Which season do you find yourself confusing the most? 👇

AI is amazing... but it shouldn't be choosing your colour season. 👀

As a certified colour analyst, I've analyzed hundreds of clients, and I've noticed one pattern: AI often mistypes people's seasons because it's relying on visible features like hair colour, eye colour, and skin tone.

The problem? Your skin undertone is what determines your best colours—not your hair or eye colour. And that's something that can't be accurately determined from a single photo.

That's why professional colour analysis uses drapes to see how different colours actually interact with your skin.

I've even seen AI type my own brother as a dark season simply because of his dark hair and eyes—when he's actually a Bright Spring.

If you've used AI to find your season, I'd love to know...

What season did it give you? 👇

Not knowing your style personality can leave you feeling unsure about how to put outfits together, even when your wardrobe is full.

Here are 6 black tops, each expressing a different style personality:
Dramatic, Elegant, Natural, Classic, Creative, Romantic.

Same colour. Completely different energy.

In my Style Review service, I help clients identify their style personality through energetics. I look at yin and yang balance in your physical features, personality traits, and your likes and dislikes to understand what truly aligns with your essence.

This becomes a game-changer for shopping and styling decisions—so you can quickly recognise what works for you and stop wasting time (and money) on what doesn’t.

My favourite part of a session is that moment when everything clicks. Suddenly there’s clarity on what to bring into your wardrobe—and why certain pieces have never felt quite right.

If you’ve been feeling stuck with your style, now is a great time to book a Style Review session. I’ll be going on maternity leave in October and would love to help you get clarity before then.

One of the most common mistypes I see is between the Soft and Light seasons.

Because both groups can sit in the neutral undertone range, the difference isn't always obvious without proper draping.

My client spent 8 years believing she was a Soft Summer. The colours weren't terrible on her, but they weren't bringing out her best either. The biggest clue? She regularly heard comments about looking tired.

Once we discovered she was actually a Light Spring, everything made sense. Her complexion brightened, her eyes became more noticeable, and she looked naturally more energized.

Have you ever been colour analyzed and felt like something wasn't quite right? 💭

*And excuse my son saying mommy in the background 😂 mom life.

My favourite part of every session ✨

After we’ve gone through all the draping and those little aha moments start happening… I get to place your colour fan in your hands.

I love this moment because I can see the shift — everything suddenly feels clearer. You’re not second guessing anymore, you know what works.

And the best part? Your colour fan is complimentary with your colour analysis — something you get to take home and actually use in your everyday life.

I always say… this is where it really begins. It comes with you shopping, getting dressed, choosing makeup — quietly guiding you back to yourself every time.

It’s such a simple tool, but it changes everything 💫
