A long-time client of mine ❣️

Meet this lovely client — we’ve been working together for 5 years now ❤️ She truly is a gem, inside and out.

She originally wanted to embrace her natural grey hair, but her hairdresser had been adding even more cool grey tones. Because she’s a Warm Spring with a warm undertone, those cooler shades were actually dulling her complexion and creating a grey cast on the skin, which made her look more tired than she felt.

After I recommended a beautiful strawberry blonde instead, everything changed ✨ Her features lit up and her skin had the most gorgeous, youthful glow.

We also went shopping to bring more of her best colours into her wardrobe, and she is absolutely loving her clothes now.

It always warms my heart to see how a few thoughtful switches — the right hair tone and the right colours — can make someone feel so good in their own skin. 💛

Both of these photos were taken 8 years ago—before I discovered the wonderful world of colour analysis.

✨ Left = the right choice
My skin is glowing in the warm red (orange undertone) dress and lipstick. My eyes look brighter, and the gold earrings beautifully complement my skin tone.

❌ Right = the wrong choice
My skin looks grey in the cool red (blue undertone) dress and lipstick. My under-eyes appear darker/red, and I lose warmth overall.

🏆To my surprise, I saw the most Light Summers this year 🌞 They glow in pastel, light tones 🤩

Second place, was Cool Winters ❄️ They wear icy, and bright jewel tones.

The least season I saw, was Dark Winters. Hoping to see more of you next year 🤩

What an achievement 🎉

It was an intense 6 hours but rewarding seeing so many guests feeling excited and surprised by their best colours. 🌈

I was surprised to hear that so many guests only feel comfortable wearing neutrals and the colour black, so this really opened their eyes to so many colour possibilities that they can start embracing.

And congrats on on their 5 year anniversary, what a special milestone ✨

Your body changed — and that’s okay. 💕

Bodies change for so many reasons — pregnancy, hormones, health shifts, even just life happening.

And trust me, I get it. I gained more than average during my pregnancy and later developed postpartum hypothyroidism, which made me gain even more.

I honestly thought I’d fit into my old clothes a year after giving birth… boy, was I wrong.

So instead of waiting or squeezing into things that didn’t make me feel good, I decided to buy new clothes — ones that fit this version of me.

And it was freeing.
