It was a very early start in Lagos, Portugal but what a beautiful location for a balloon flight in the absolute south west of Europe. An absolute stunner for country no 8 on the Send My Bag tour, with amazing views as the sun rose, Lagos and the coast on one side and mountains on the other.

Special thanks to Helen & Daniel Sa and the rest of the Helena Sá team for their support and hospitality in helping us to get the flight done.

No stopping us now as we are already on the road to country number 9 🚙 💨

A second flight in Spain 🇪🇸 this time in the Orange, Lemon and Black Bull region of Seville. Amazing views all around. This completes our Spanish visit and a special thanks to Jesús for suggesting the Church for the take off location.

We have already made our way to country 8 Portugal 🇵🇹 🚙 💨 where we are looking forward to teaming up with Algarve Balloons for a special flight in the south west of Portugal.

Eric one of our resident Inflatable Elephants has been out and about again this time to a Wedding on in Hertfordshire. The day looked fantastic and as always Eric was an absolute hit.

This morning we continued the Send My Bag tour with the this time in country number 7 Spain 🇪🇸. Flying in the region of Segovia next to the town of Segovia rich in history dating back to the Romans. It is also a famous ballooning region with fantastic views ranging from Great Plains, Mountains as well as the historic town.

After almost a week waiting for good weather in France including 300 miles relocations we finally managed to fly to continue the Send My Bag record attempt and it didn’t disappoint. Waiting for the early morning fog to lift we finally managed to fly in France 🇫🇷 in the Dordogne region flying by Chateau’s and Castles along the valley.

This marks country number 6 for the record and 7 overall

Special thanks to Montgolfieres du perigord who helped us with fuel and a camera balloon for the morning, Chris & Sue Davies for a second Camera balloon and Paul Spellward arranging the connections.

Well worth a visit to a stunning area of France.

This morning we had great fun with Ireland AM and Deric with the Send My Bag helping to do weather reports and interviews in regard to the record attempt and the Irish Ballooning Championships.

The reports and weather have been used throughout the day including the afternoon news and went nationally around Ireland ensuring a great reach.

Lots of confused people on boats last night in Lough Key as a flying suitcase flew past them as part of the Irish Hot air Ballooning Championships.

The Send My Bag has made its first appearance at the Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships with the weather looking good for next few days.

This flying suitcase balloon is trying to set a Guinness World Record. It proved too windy for it to fly today but was inflated in Lough Key Forest Park this morning.

Looking forward to attending the Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships next week in Roscommon.

News of the balloons appearance has made as far as the Irish Daily Mirror this morning.

Ireland is set to become the 5th official country for the record attempt and 6th country overall we have visited so far.
