Worthing’s seafront is set to come alive as Sea to Shore Worthing Seafood Festival arrives at Windsor Lawns on Sunday 12th July (11:30am–7pm).

A full day celebrating our coastal heritage, with seafood stalls and local restaurants serving fresh dishes, plus a wet fish stall offering the catch of the day.

Expect interactive sessions from Sussex Underwater, kids’ crafts, a great line-up of local vendors, and live music throughout the day - including a lively shanty choir bringing the seaside atmosphere to life.

From live music and performance to family activities, art and pop-up events, the festival brings together the very best of Worthing’s vibrant creative scene - with the main festival weekend taking place in Homefield Park from 19th–21st June.

Just in case anyone is going on the A27 today towards Brighton.

The A27 has been closed in both directions near the D**e Road roundabouts in Hove following a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

Emergency services are at the scene and the road is expected to be closed for some time while we work to understand the full circumstances.

Motorists are asked to find alternative routes and we are grateful for your patience while this is ongoing.

Further updates will be provided as soon as we are able.

A special celebration of musical talent is coming to Worthing this June with Young Wurlitzer Stars of the Future, as featured in this month's INSIDE 🎹🌟

Hosted by Richard Moore BEM and Michael Wooldridge, the afternoon will feature reigning UK Young Theatre Organist of the Year Oscar Battle, Jamyma Hanson, and talented students from the Rye and TPOPS Academies - all performing on the legendary Worthing Wurlitzer at the Assembly Hall.

Creative projects, local history and new experiences for children across Worthing 💛

This month in INSIDE, SHINE shares updates on its inspiring recent work - from nature and art sessions at RSPB Sidlesham to a fascinating local heritage project marking the 110th anniversary of the Battle of Boars Head.

The children involved have been researching Worthing’s wartime stories and are now preparing a podcast and exhibition to showcase what they’ve discovered, launching at Worthing Town Hall on 29th June. ✨
