Morning yoga attempts (emphasis on attempts), content days, café meetings, seeing cute pets and so many other experiences!

Yes, we even had a bit of snow, but the longer days are really making me look forward to warmer weather.

When Ross from RTR Plumbing and Heating came to us for a brand new website, he came prepared with his branding, content, photos, and a clear vision for how he wanted the site to look and feel.

I really liked that his brand consisted of bright orange (one of my fave colours), fun typography, and a logo with personality which made this website such an enjoyable project to work on.

With all the content provided, I brought it all together into a clean, one-page WordPress site that does exactly what he needs it to.

This is a good reminder that websites don’t have to be complicated to work well. If you’re a local trade business driven by word of mouth, a clear and professional one-pager can be more than enough.

Thank you Ross for the opportunity and for the kind words. It was a genuine pleasure.

Hi, Fortuna here 👋

I know it’s been a little quiet on here since December, so I wanted to share a small update about Skyzack.

Skyzack is returning to its roots much like when it first began over a decade ago, continuing as a more personal digital marketing service led by Jim and me, within Jim’s main company, while keeping the Skyzack name and brand.

Our brilliant colleagues (more like friends) have now moved on to new chapters, and I couldn’t be prouder of them. Jess continues her marketing journey at , Kiera is growing her aerial arts business at , and Martha has now stepped into a marketing role within music education in Manchester 🌟

What hasn’t changed is the work itself. I’m still here supporting small and independent businesses with websites, social media strategies, email marketing and marketing consultancy.

I’m excited for 2026 and have been quietly working on some very exciting projects behind the scenes, which I can’t wait to share more about soon!

Thank you to everyone who’s supported Skyzack over the years. It really means a lot :)

Look out comic world, we're armed with a pen and paper ✏ (and some expert guidance from )

For one of the most fun Tuesday afternoon activities we've endeavoured on, we went to visit Marc over at Room 4 Comics and got a full comic workshop experience!

Marc has created such an inclusive space for all those who want to get their creative on, with events for kiddos and adults alike.

If you haven't checked out the space, get yourself over there! The space is open 9-4 on weekdays and workshop weekends; their shop space is definitely worth a good browse as well, hosting a variety of comic artists work and some eye catching designs.

Aren't we lucky to have a space like this in Macc? Thanks to Marc for inviting us in, it was a pleasure. 🤗

What a day! 🎨

Huge thanks to Elyse and the team at the over in Stoke-on-Trent for inviting us to their Creative Futures session this week.

Jess spent the day with some brilliant students exploring careers in marketing, social media, and all things creative.

From "day in the life" insights to hands-on content creation, it was so inspiring to see their ideas come to life!

The students absolutely smashed the brief - creating social content for local businesses with such creativity and personality.

Plus, as a campus location? Absolutely stunning.

What an incredible space to learn and create in... It's also the perfect place for a day out to check out their heritage trail and numerous independent traders for gifts and more!
