It was World Turtle Day over the weekend. A great moment to appreciate these fascinating animals, and to shine a light on how reptiles can be safely and responsibly included in film, TV and commercial productions.

We provide a wide range of reptile and small animal models, including tortoises, turtles, bearded dragons and more.

Coco the kitten on a shoot today.

I am pleased to tell you that Pets at Home are one of the companies who take welfare of animals seriously.

The past few weeks they have hired models who were chaperoned not only by their owners, They were also monitored by our animal welfare team. The team assisted in obtaining the required results as they are also qualified trainer’s.

We can provide animal specialists no matter the type, species or breed featuring in any production.

Today is another busy day behind the scenes and here’s a photograph of Chilli who’s currently working on one of the projects.

Registrations are open for at certain times throughout the year.

Current registration window:
Monday 27th April until Sunday 17th May 2026.

Just complete the Registration Form and send us some photos. We need up to 3 GOOD photos. Have a browse through this website for examples of good photos - you don't have to be a professional photographer, just make sure they are in focus and clearly show the body and the head of your pet.

Remember, the better the photo, the more chance of being cast for a modelling assignment.

We’re proud to have supported the theatre production of Road at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, providing animal welfare consultancy and training expertise for the role of ‘Koda’ the German Shepherd.

Across a three-week run in February and March, three incredible dogs (Bella, Cadi and Envy) shared the role across 32 performances, including both evening and matinee shows.

Performing in-the-round, in front of a live audience, brought its own challenges, and all three dogs handled it brilliantly alongside Johnny Vegas and Shobna Gulati.

From TV and film to live theatre productions, we bring the same level of expertise and care to every environment.

We have welcomed Kite a young springer spaniel who absolutely smashed her first time on set today🐾

Meet Nell, Nancy & Nora

This lovely trio have recently been on set with us and were an absolute dream to work with. Calm, well-handled and happy in their environment, they worked beautifully together and took everything in their stride - delivering exactly what was needed on the day.

Each with their own little personality, Nell, Nancy and Nora quickly won over the crew and, it’s safe to say… stole a few hearts along the way.

Did you know there are around 50 recognised breeds of rabbits? From tiny Netherland Dwarfs to larger, fluffier breeds – we work with a wide range, all selected for their temperament and suitability for filming and photography.

Available across the North West, and ready for future shoots.
